MY "AHA" MOMENT
I can’t really say I have one. I am a constant work in progress and plan to always keep pushing to be a better version of myself, both physically and mentally. I do however have some very impactful moments in my life that have made me into the person I currently am today, such as; being adopted by my father when I was very young, moving to various schools in different states during elementary school, deciding to join the Army at 16, leaving home at 17, losing a lover in war, losing lives in war, surviving war at 22 and coming home with PTSD, packing all my things in my car and moving across the country from Fargo, ND to Las Vegas, NV, moving again and starting all over in North Carolina, being promoted at my the company I work for within 3 months and being tasked with totally revamping a unit that was about in ruins when I didn’t even understand the business yet, meeting my husband and getting married and building a home all within a year, having a miscarriage, being diagnosed with a rare pre-natal liver disease with my 1st baby, leaving the Army, and then again coming close to death having a placental rupture/emergency c-section 12 weeks early and delivering a premature baby with my second pregnancy. It might sound miserable to some people but I consider the challenges in my life as a gift, I know God is making me stronger for a special purpose and it’s up to me to work my ass off and not disappoint him.
THE END GOAL
The end goal (or vision) for my life on Earth would be to leave a positive impact whenever and wherever I can. I don’t wish for Celebrity status or extravagant success and I don’t wish for the world to know my name, but rather I find my joy partaking in acts of kindness and having a positive influence on people whenever given the opportunity. I love to help people find confidence within themselves and make them feel good about their ability to achieve goals. Ultimately, I want to be a good person and raise my children with similar values and beliefs so that they can do the same.
