So without further ado, let’s talk about how to make these sweet, energy-packed treats.
Coconut Energy Balls
Servings: 32 (1 Serving = 1 Ball)
Ingredients:
- 3 Cups of Pitted Dates
- 4 Scoops of Phormula-1 Vanilla Milkshake
- 1/4 Cup of Carob or Chocolate Chips
- 1 1/2 Cup of Almonds
- 2 Tbsp of Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 Cup of Warm Water
- 1 Cup of Unsweetened Coconut Flakes
Directions:
1. Combine the dates, almonds and oat in a food processor and grind them down to small chunks.
2. Add the ground powder to a mixing bowl along with the Phormula-1, carob chips, and cocoa powder. Mix with a spatula until well combined. The mixture will seem dry in the beginning, but you may add more water if necessary.
3. Place the dough on a non-stick surface.
4. Roll the dough into 32 evenly-sized balls and coat them with coconut flakes.
5. Place the balls on a baking tray and place them in the fridge for 3-4 hours before serving.
