Protein-Packed Tomato Basil Chicken Soup

Cook Time: 4 Hours

INGREDIENTS:

1 (14.5oz) Can of Diced Tomatoes
1 Cup Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce
1 Cup Fat-Free Plain Greek Yogurt
2 Tsp Minced Garlic
2 TB Fresh Basil, minced
1 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Pepper
2 Lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast

DIRECTIONS:

For this recipe, you'll need:

• Crockpot
• Mixing spoon
• Fork

1. Set the slow cooker on high. Add the tomato sauce, diced tomato, cream cheese, basil, garlic, salt, and pepper to the crockpot. Mix well until the cream cheese is broken up, but not smooth.

2. Add the chicken breast to stir in and cover with the mixture.

3. Cook on high for 4 hours, until the sauce has thickened and the chicken is fully cooked. Use a fork to shred the chicken in the slow cooker.

4. Allow the soup to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving! Feel free to have it with noodles, grilled cheese, vegetables, or whatever else you may like!
