I got into fitness due to an injury and unethical doctors' views toward preventative care. I ended up switching my major in school for sports medicine to learn how to rehab myself ... to become stronger and better than I was before. In doing so, I started a boot camp at the school I was attending to train the students for free. This experience helped me build up my skills as a trainer and to help out others in need. I did that for 2 years, then decided to work at a private performance training facility.
My source of inspiration is myself. You have to be absolutely committed to what’s conducive for your growth. Refuse to accept anything less than complete self-fulfillment, and be empowered by what you stand for.
Tacos, french fries and Chinese food are my favorite cheat meals. They never disappoint.
I don’t watch TV.
My “Never Settle” attitude comes from controlling my mind and keeping the focus to stay strong ... to continue fighting that battle that most people don’t understand. It’s not their journey to understand nor is it their fight, it’s yours. Pain will always be there, you have no excuses. To become successful you have to accept the challenges that come your way even if you don’t like it. Going through any adversity, you need to grow through it and learn through it. Tell yourself you owe yourself everything and get over those fears that control you. Fight through the battles that have a hold of you. Harness your will and know that you’re in control and make that declaration to yourself.
Creating my own motivated clothing line for others to rock and use as inspiration for themselves.
What keeps me going is understanding that anyone can start something, but very few can finish. When everyone is giving up, that’s why you push yourself harder.
1st Phorm has changed my mindset to dominating at everything I do, and to always give 110%. Be realistic and bold, hold yourself accountable to mistakes and mishaps ... and tighten up loose ends and keep it pushing. 1st Phorm has shifted my perspective on getting control of my mind. During those down moments that’s where growth takes place and that’s where the true work really is. Anyone can feel good, motivated and disciplined when they have their health ... not really facing any adversity and not having to struggle with battles everyday. Real growth takes place when you are beingphysically, mentally, andemotionally challenged on a daily basis.
