About Kenny
I’m a 31-year Veteran of the United States Army where I will soon retire as a Command Sergeant Major. I have spent my entire adult life mentoring and developing others, so they can perform at their highest possible levels during peacetime and in combat. This opportunity to lead and interact with others has been a driving force in my decision to become a Personal Trainer. I can think of no better way to leave a legacy in this world than pouring my knowledge of leadership, fitness, and nutrition into others. It’s my true calling in life and I’m thankful for the opportunity to have an impact, one life at a time.

What got you into fitness
As a Soldier, fitness plays a large roll in your ability to execute your duties. Not only does your life depend on your personal level of fitness, but your brothers and sisters to your left and right depend on you to be fit as well. If your fitness level is unsatisfactory, it’s possible that another member of your team may make the ultimate sacrifice due to your unpreparedness. This realization has driven me daily over my Army career to be as fit as possible. The saying “The more you sweat in peace, the less you bleed in war” are appropriate words to live by in any endeavor. Particularly Soldiering.
What's Your Source if Inspiration
My inspiration is my family. Every sacrifice I’ve ever made or will ever make in the future, has been or will be for my family. As a husband of 25 years, father of 2 adult children, and one grandchild, I put my family before me in everything I do. I live my life selflessly so that they will have as many opportunities as possible. They have sacrificed so much so that I could serve our nation. They have endured 5 combat deployments spanning over 50 months, dozens of new schools and jobs, lost friends, and countless sleepless nights. Putting them first in all things keeps me humbled, driven, and inspired to give 110% in every task I undertake. I know that ultimately my failure results in their failure. That’s powerful to me.
What's Your Go-To Cheat Meal
This is a tough one for me. You said “Meal” right? Who doesn’t like a good slice of a deep-dish pizza or maybe even a mouthwatering burger with bacon, pepper jack cheese, and side of crispy sweet potato fries? Now if you take away the word meal and replace that with favorite cheat food? I’m 100% all over those donuts yo. Not sure that donuts count as a meal, but it's damn hard to beat a fresh from the oven Bear Claw or Apple Fritter.
What's Your Favorite TV Show
The Office and Seinfeld are my favorites. To be more specific, The Office through season 7. When Michael Scott left The Office it went to shit. As you can tell, I love comedy that requires little to no effort with one liners and zingers throughout. I’ve seen every episode of each of these shows multiple times. In fact, I could probably have an entire conversation with you only using quotes from these 2 shows.
What Does 'Never Settle' Mean To You
Never Settle is more than a saying... It’s a mindset. It’s a way to live your life. Never Settle applies to far more than fitness and nutrition. It’s how you approach your career, your responsibilities as a leader, and your commitment to others. It means never accepting “good enough”. It means that regardless of your progress, you must continue to work, to grind, and to relentlessly pursue excellence.
What's Your Biggest Achievement
I’ve accomplished many things in my life that most people will work their entire lives accomplish. Soldier, Leader, Command Sergeant Major, Graduate of both Bachelor’s & Master’s Programs, Personal Trainer, Legionnaire and 1st Phorm Elite Trainer come to mind. I’m proud of every single one of these wins and the work that has gone into achieving them. Each one of those achievements has played a roll into shaping me into the man I am today. However, my biggest achievement has been working hard daily to develop a relationship with my wife that has allowed our marriage to grow stronger than ever after 25 years together. There is nothing more valuable in this life than a person to share your wins and losses with because without that, the wins and losses mean nothing.
What Keeps You Going
The people. The people keep me going. One of the greatest things about being a leader and a fitness professional is that there will always be more people to help. There are always lives to impact. Personally, there is no greater feeling than knowing that you were able to help someone get their life back. To add years to someone’s life, knowing that because of you they will be able to be present in their family’s life for even longer.
How Has 1st Phorm Changed Your Life
Serving in the Army over the last 31 years gave me purpose. Every day when I opened my eyes, I knew I had the opportunity to impact another life and be a member of a team that’s sole purpose was to serve selflessly as a part of something bigger. With retirement looming, I was concerned that I would never find that again. However, when I was introduced to 1st Phorm I discovered a community similar to the Army’s. 1st Phorm isn't just a supplement company... It’s a way of life. 1st Phorm’s mission is simple, to help as many people as possible. That’s something I want to be a part of. 1st Phorm restored that sense for purpose and ensured that I will have an impact well past my time in the Army. For that, I will always be thankful and appreciative to say #IAM1STPHORM.

Kenny's Favorite Supplements
Opti-Health Stack
"These two are my favorite products in the 1st Phorm lineup. First, I know that I suck at eating the required amount and variety of fruits & vegetables needed daily. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve tried but it’s nearly impossible. Second, I also know that if I want to stay in the gym, I must stay healthy. That means that I need a strong immune system. These 2 products cover those gaps for me. Opti-Greens and Opti-Reds ensure my gut is healthy, nutrients are delivered with efficient uptake, blood flow is improved, inflammation in the body is reduced, and I HAVE MORE NATURAL ENERGY! Couldn’t go without these."
The Joint Stack
"These two products that started it all for me with 1st Phorm. At 40 I was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis. Quickly doctors started prescribing me with large doses of ant-inflammatory meds. They were helping. After years of use and abuse, my kidney started showing early signs of kidney failure. I started looking for an alternative. A coach recommended the Joint Stack which is Full Mega and Joint Mobility. After about 2 weeks of use, I noticed a huge difference in pain and inflammation. Over time I was able to completely discontinue the harmful anti-inflammatory meds and rely solely on the Joint Stack."
Post Workout Stack
Go To Product
"This product has quite literally “changed the game” for me. In my mid 40’s it was becoming increasingly difficult to fully recover between grueling workouts. I was always tired & sore which led to less intense, and less beneficial workouts. It only took one serving of Phormula-1 & Ignition for me to realize that has had been getting post-workout nutrition wrong. Since adding the Phormula-1 & Ignition into my nutrition, I’ve had no issues with recovery or soreness."
