Bagel 4 Ways Recipe

Bagel 4 Ways Recipe

I don't know about you, but bagels are my go-to for breakfast. I could eat them every single day if I had to!

I used to struggle with finding lower calorie, macro friendly options. But, that's when I decided to take matters into my own hands and made this recipe! Who knew that bagels could be so easy to make?

With just 3 ingredients, you can make a soft, fluffy bagel that is a perfect to pair with your eggs in the morning.

You can make them plain, or get even more creative and add some toppings based on your preference. My personal favorite is the jalapeno cheddar!

Bagel 4 Ways

Servings: 4 (1 Bagel = 1 Serving)

• 1 Cup Self Rising Flour
• 1 Cup Fat-Free Plain Greek Yogurt
• 1 Egg
• 1 Tbsp of Water

Everything Bagel Seasoning
• 2 Tsp Everything Bagel Seasoning

Cinnamon Sugar
• 2 Tsp Splenda Brown Sugar
• 2 Tsp Cinnamon

• 1/8 Cup Frozen Wild Blueberries

Jalapeno Cheddar
• 4 Canned Jalapeno Slices, Diced
• 1/8 Cup Cheddar Cheese, Shredded

1. Begin preheating the oven to 350℉.

2. Make an egg wash by beating the egg and tbsp of water in a small bowl with a fork until well combined.

3. Combine the self-rising flour and greek yogurt in a large bowl. Knead these ingredients together to form a dough.

4. Flour a surface and divide the dough into 4 equally-sized balls to form your bagels.

5. Brush the top of your bagels with egg wash and sprinkle on your choice of seasoning to each.

6. Place the bagels on a baking sheet and put them in the oven for 25-28 minutes. Once done, let the bagels sit for a few minutes before you serve them.
