Ham and Cheese Tailgate Sandwiches

Ham and Cheese Tailgate Sandwiches

Whether you need some finger food for the big game or snacks for a cocktail party, these sandwiches are where it's at.

With 30 grams of protein per serving, and only 398 calories ... you really can't go wrong. Now, these ham and cheese sandwiches probably aren't the best thing to make for meal prep, but they are certainly better than just about any other appetizer you'll find on game day.

So, next tailgate, ditch the fried foods and chips ... say hello to a much healthier, and equally as tasty, alternative!

Ham and Cheese Tailgate Sandwiches

Servings: 12 (1 Serving = 2 Sandwiches)

Ingredients:

• 24 Honey Wheat Hawaiian Rolls
• 3 tbsp of Dijon Mustard
• 3 tbsp of Butter
• 36oz (72 slices) of Biscuit Ham Slices
• 24 slices of Reduced Fat Provolone
• 2 tbsp of Parsley

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 375℉

2. Place the butter in a small ramekin or microwave-safe bowl and heat it until fully melted.

3. Mix the melted butter, dijon mustard, and parsley in a small bowl.

4. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half to divide the rolls into a top and bottom bun. Place all the bottoms to fit in a 9"x13" baking sheet.

5. Layer the ham and provolone evenly over the rolls and place the top buns over the top. Use a knife to cut the cheese and ham between each roll.

6. Brush the butter and dijon mixture over the top of the rolls until they are all evenly coated.

7. Place the baking sheet in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the tops turn golden brown and the cheese is melted.

8. Let the sandwiches cool for 5-10 minutes and serve!
