I'm a huge fan of mug cakes.
They are just far too easy, delicious, and customizable not to love!
I mean heck, you can use any flavor of protein ... any sort of topping, and it's all done in 3-5 minutes tops.
I'm not really sure if it gets much better than that.
If you haven't tried a protein mug cake before ... allow me to introduce you to my favorite mug cake recipe.
It makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

Protein Mug Cake
Ingredients:
1 Ripe Banana
1 Scoop of Level-1 Milk Chocolate
1 Tbsp of Almond Butter
1 Egg
1 Tbsp of Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 Tbsp of Sugar-free Chocolate Chips
1/2 Tsp of Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp of Baking Soda
Cooking Spray
Optional Toppings:
Nut Butter
Almonds
Sugar-free Chocolate Syrup
Directions:
1. Coat the inside of a large mug with cooking spray.
2. Add the banana to the mug and mash with a fork until it becomes a paste or has a smooth consistency.
3. Add in the protein powder, nut butter, milk, baking powder, baking soda, and chocolate chips. Stir until you form a batter-like consistency.
4. Microwave in 60-second increments, paying attention to your mug cake. Make sure it doesn't rise and spill out of the top. Cook time may vary. Typically, 2-3 60-second increments will get you the desired consistency.
