Want a quick, convenient, and healthy way to start your day?
Well ... have you ever tried protein oats? They are a phenomenal way to get the protein, carbs, and nutrients you need to fuel your morning.
It's also one of my go-to meals when I'm traveling or looking for something last minute.
All you really need to do is grab your favorite protein powder, some old fashioned oats, a few other crucial ingredients, and you're good to go.
So let's get into it!
Protein Oats
Servings: 1
Prep Time: 2 minutes
Cook time: 3 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup of Water
- 1/2 Cup of Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 1 Scoop of Level-1 Vanilla Ice Cream
- 1/4 Cup of Fat Free Greek Yogurt
- 1 Tbsp of Chia Seeds
- 1 Tbsp of Sugar-free Maple Syrup
- 1 Tsp of Cinnamon
Directions:
1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the oats and water.
2. Microwave the oats and water for 2-3 minutes, taking a break to stir halfway through.
3. Remove from the microwave and mix in the remaining ingredients until thoroughly combined.
4. Enjoy with your favorite toppings!
