I have IBS. I never knew what would set my stomach off. Something that was fine yesterday will be absolutely not fine today. Life was miserable, and I was down to about 4 things that I could reliably eat without consequences. I was down to an unhealthy weight and was getting comments from well-intentioned people that were maddeningly unhelpful.
I followed all of my doctor's recommendations, cut out 99% of dairy, wheat, alcohol, soda, sugar, coffee (you know, all of the food that makes life worth living). My husband is the cook in our house, and he was constantly searching for meals that wouldn't attempt to kill me.
Then my husband heard about the microfactors on Andy's podcast. He ordered them and told me to try them. Like anyone, I was skeptical of a miracle cure my well-intentioned husband found online.
