Century ride fuel
As an amateur cyclist, a 100-mile century ride has been on my bucket list forever. I had fueled several 50-mile rides in the past with a combination of Ignition & Phormula1 Natural each hour and been fine. However, as the training plan took me out into new PRs (60-75 miles) I’d start to bonk towards the end of each 15 mile lap. My wife Julie (this is her account) mentioned this to her 1st Phorm coach, Mary Wolfe, who recommended the combination the fast & slow burning carbs in Ultra Formance to complement my other on-bike nutrition.
What a difference! I simply followed the directions over the 8.5 hours in the saddle and it worked. My energy levels were strong & constant; no bonking at all - even in the final 2 hours from 75-100 miles. And it tastes great too - just like everything else 1st Phorm makes.
