The time and effort that your body could be recovering or building muscle is spent with remedial digestive tasks; money you’ve spent on proteins is essentially wasted in the conversion process. In addition to a whey isolate, you should always consume a fast-absorbing carbohydrate that spikes your insulin levels to replenish glycogen stores and take full advantage of the proteins you are taking.

Glycogen is your body’s carbohydrate stores that serve essentially as your on-board battery. Training with weights severely depletes your glycogen stores and drains the battery. MALES SHOULD:

Pre-Workout: Use 1/2 scoop of Ignition with 1 scoop of Phormula-1 in 6 oz of water.

Post-Workout: Use 1 scoop of Ignition with 2 scoops of Phormula-1 in 12 oz of water.


FEMALES SHOULD:

Pre-Workout: Use 1/4 scoop of Ignition with 1/2 scoop of Phormula-1 in 4 oz of water.

Why does Ignition have so much sugar? 
Ignition is a pure dexanhydrous glucose powder, which is a very simple and high-glycemic form of carbohydrate. Ignition also includes several vitamins and minerals that you lose through your sweat during training. So while it appears to just be sugar, Ignition is much more than that, and for a very specific reason.

All carbohydrates are broken down and converted into glucose in your bloodstream to provide energy for your body. Your body requires this energy before it will even utilize protein to repair muscle tissue.

The benefit of Ignition being a glucose powder is so your body can rapidly replenish the energy stores (glycogen) it depletes during a workout. Table sugar itself is a disaccharide (2 molecules), whereas Ignition is a monosaccharide (1 molecule). This gives Ignition a huge advantage in terms of speed and insulin release.

Insulin is a hormone which will signal your body to stop breaking down muscle and begin storing nutrients after a workout. This can help your body replenish its energy (glycogen stores), and allow muscle tissue to uptake more protein and nutrients for recovery. When used correctly, the sugars in Ignition are designed to help you achieve your goals!

When should I take Ignition? 
Ignition is designed to be taken immediately after a workout in combination with a post-workout protein source like our Phormula-1 or Phormula-1 Natural. You can also take Ignition before a workout if you are unable to eat a meal and need a rapid-digesting source of carbs.

As far as what type of workout you should use Ignition after, we recommend any type of resistance training or high intensity training session. Ignition is not necessary after lower-intensity workouts such as yoga or a walk.

When will I notice results? 
Many can notice Ignition doing its job after the first workout. When paired with Phormula-1, many people will feel less sore the next day or even just a few hours after their resistance training workout! Over time, you may notice better recovery, reduced soreness, and better results by adding Ignition.  As with taking any supplement, individual results may vary.

What does Ignition taste like and how should I mix it? 
By itself, Ignition does not have much of a taste. When mixed with Phormula-1, it takes on the flavor of the protein! So, if you mix your Ignition with Phormula-1 Chocolate, you will only taste the chocolate flavor, and not Ignition!

Ignition

I like this product. I only add it to my post-workout smoothie if it has been a high intensity one due to the calorie content, although admittedly it isn't terribly high. I do think it helps high intensity post-workout recovery.

Great product to add to my workout!

I tried this on a recommendation from a friend. It has really improved my soreness after workouts.

As a bonus, I’ve been able to gain some weight which has always been a struggle for me.

Definitely recommend for helping your body recover.
