At 1st Phorm, we have a core value, "Build positive and fun relationships." We believe that it's the people who make the party, and nothing is more important than true, authentic connections with others.
Not to mention that if we're going to leave the world in a better place than we found it ... It's going to take building meaningful connections and inspiring those around us.
Now, as someone who's been a part of the 1st Phorm community for quite some time ... I can confidently say that we've built connections with some of the most incredible people this world has to offer. This is especially true of all of the friendships we've built in our local community of St. Louis, Missouri, with first responders and all of our brave men and women in blue.
But on October 6th, 2016, we lost Officer Blake Snyder, who paid the ultimate sacrifice while protecting our community. Blake wasn't just a friend or a customer. Blake was a part of our family at 1st Phorm.
Blake believed in using fitness to become the best version of himself and lived a life in service of others. When we lost Blake, we made a commitment to always honor his legacy and keep his memory alive through fitness, community, and charity.
That's why every year since his passing, we've hosted the Blake Snyder Memorial Workout. It's an event to honor Blake and raise money for the first responders who continue to put their lives on the line for us every single day.
What Is The Blake Snyder Memorial Workout?
The Blake Snyder Memorial Workout is an annual fundraising event to honor Blake's memory and support first responders. This year, we'll be hosting the workout at 1st Phorm Headquarters in Fenton, Missouri.
It's an opportunity to get together, raise money, and bond through hard work and sweat.
You see, Blake stood for everything we believe in as a company. He was dedicated to helping others become the best version of themselves. He stood for discipline, service, and never giving up. That's why we also use this memorial workout as a chance to reflect on our values in action.
It's an opportunity to assess whether we are doing everything in our power to be and become our best for ourselves and others. It's an opportunity to audit ourselves and our actions to make sure we're living in line with the values we preach.
So, no, it's not just a workout. It's an opportunity to come spend some time together, put in some work to make ourselves better, and show our support for the brave men and women who protect and serve our communities every day.

A Community That Cares
What I love most about the Blake Snyder Memorial Workout is how it brings our community together around something that truly matters.
Every year, I see people from all walks of life show up. I'm talking about athletes, beginners, families with kids, and everyone in between. What unites us isn't our fitness level. It's our shared respect for those who serve.
...and that's really what 1st Phorm is about. Sure, we make great supplements. Sure, we want to help people reach their health and fitness goals. But more than anything else ... We want to use our community to make the world a better place through the example we set.
Blake understood that, and he lived it every day. This is your chance to do the same.
