Servings: 5 (1 Serving = 1 Waffle + 4oz Chicken)
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 20 Minutes
Ingredients:
Protein Waffles
1 Cup All-Purpose Pancake & Waffle Mix
2 Scoops Level-1 Maple Butter Waffle
1 Cup Water
1/4 Cup Sugar Free Syrup
Chicken
20 Oz Chicken Breast (About 4 Breasts)
4 Cheddar Rice Crisps
2 Egg Whites
1 1/2 Tsp Paprika
2 Tsp Salt
2 Tsp Pepper
1 1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
Directions:
For this recipe, you'll need:
• Waffle Maker
• Non-Stick Cooking Spray
• Medium Mixing Bowl
• 2 Plates
• Mixing Spoon
• Air Fryer
• Blender or Food Processor
1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
2. Season the chicken breasts with the salt, pepper, and paprika.
3. Take 4 cheddar rice crisps and put them in a blender or food processor. Season them with the onion powder, then blend until fine crumbs form.
4. Transfer the blended rice crisps to a plate.
5. Beat 2 egg whites together on a separate plate.
6. Evenly coat each chicken breast with the egg white, then coat the chicken with the rice crisp blend.
7. Coat the air fryer basket lightly with non-stick cooking spray before adding the chicken. You may need to cook the chicken in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.
8. Air fry the chicken for 15 minutes at 375°F, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
9. In a medium bowl, mix the pancake mix, Level-1 protein powder, and water together until combined.
10. Spray the waffle maker with non-stick spray and pour about 1 cup of the waffle mixture into the waffle maker. Cook according to the waffle maker instructions.
11. Repeat until you have 5 waffles. Set aside to cool.
12. As waffles are cooling, cut up chicken as you please: diced or cut into slices works great.
13. Place one waffle on a plate and top with one-fifth of the chicken (4oz) and 1 tablespoon of syrup.
14. Enjoy!
