For the Dough:
1 Cup Self-Rising Flour (Plus Extra for Dusting)
1 Cup Fat-Free Plain Greek Yogurt
1 Egg
1 Tbsp Water
For the Toppings (Divided Among 4 Bagels):
1/2 Cup Pizza Sauce (About 2 Tbsp Per Bagel)
1/2 Cup Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded (About 2 Tbsp Per Bagel)
4 Oz Sliced Turkey Pepperoni
Optional:
Dried Oregano
Crushed Red Pepper
Fresh Basil
Directions:
For this recipe, you'll need:
• Mixing Bowl
• Baking Sheet
• Parchment Paper
• Measuring Cups & Spoons
• Cooling Rack (Optional)
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a medium bowl, mix the self-rising flour, Greek yogurt, egg, and water until a sticky dough forms.
3. Lightly flour your hands and a clean counter surface. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a rope and connect the ends to form a bagel shape.
4. Place bagels on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, until slightly golden.
5. Remove from the oven. Spread each bagel with 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce, top with mozzarella, and sliced turkey pepperoni.
Return to the oven and bake for an additional 8–10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
